Last updated: October 2026. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.
This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit www.ftsgroupco.com, why, and what rights you have. In short: this website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising, and it collects no more data than it needs to work.
1. Controller
The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
FTS Group GmbHEupener Str. 159 E1
50933 Köln, Germany
Tel: +49-221 589 238 88
E-mail: info@ftsgroupco.com
Managing director: Mansour Fakouri
For any question about data protection, write to info@ftsgroupco.com.
2. What this website does not do
- No cookies are set by this website (see our Cookie Policy).
- No analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) and no advertising.
- No social media plugins.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server. No data is sent to font services such as Google Fonts.
- No automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external hosting provider on our behalf, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Each time a page is requested, the server automatically records technical information in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the page you came from)
- browser type and version, operating system
This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable, for example to detect attacks. It is not combined with other data and not used to identify you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Log files are deleted after a short period, at the latest once they are no longer needed for these purposes, unless a security incident requires them to be kept longer.
The connection to this website is encrypted (SSL/TLS), recognisable by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser.
4. Contacting us (contact form, e-mail, telephone)
When you contact us, we process the details you give us in order to answer your enquiry. The contact form only asks for what we need for this: your name, your e-mail address, a subject and your message. No other data is collected.
The contact form does not store or send anything itself: after you press “Send Message”, it opens your own e-mail program with the message prepared, and you send it to info@ftsgroupco.com from there. Your message then reaches us as a normal e-mail.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to steps before entering into one (for example a quotation), and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply (business correspondence must be kept for up to 6 or 10 years under German commercial and tax law, § 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
5. Google Maps (only after you click)
The contact page can show a map from Google Maps, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is not loaded automatically. Until you click “Show map”, no connection to Google is made.
When you click “Show map”, your browser connects to Google’s servers. Google then receives at least your IP address, the page you are on, and technical browser information, and may set cookies or similar technologies. This data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).
Legal basis: your consent by clicking the button (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by simply reloading the page; the map is then not loaded again until you click once more. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
6. Links to other websites and PDF documents
Our pages link to other websites, for example our partners. No data is sent to these websites until you click a link; from then on, the privacy policy of that website applies. The PDF documents on this website (certificates and terms) are served from our own server.
7. Recipients
Your data is only passed on where this is necessary for the purposes above: to our hosting provider and our e-mail provider as processors, and to Google only if you load the map. We do not sell personal data.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16)
- have your data erased (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21)
- withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3))
To use these rights, a short e-mail to info@ftsgroupco.com is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
